Description
A 52-inch damp-rated ceiling fan with integrated LED uplight and downlight, ideal for contemporary living spaces and covered patios.
The Torch ceiling fan from Fanimation brings a sleek, contemporary silhouette to any room. Its five matte white composite blades and opal frosted glass diffuser create a cohesive look. The fan includes both a 12-watt LED uplight and an 18-watt LED downlight, offering versatile lighting options. With a reversible AC motor and damp-rated construction, it's a practical choice for both indoor and covered outdoor areas.
Best for
- Living rooms and great rooms up to 400 sq ft, providing both air movement and ambient light
- Primary bedrooms where a quiet, reversible fan helps circulate air year-round
- Covered patios, porches, and sunrooms (damp-rated)
- Contemporary and transitional interiors that benefit from a minimalist, sculptural fan
- Rooms with standard 8-9 ft ceilings, using the included 5-inch downrod
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas exposed directly to rain or moisture (damp-rated, not wet-rated)
- Low ceilings under 7 ft, as the fan hangs 17 inches from the ceiling
- Spaces requiring a bright primary light source; the LED modules provide 1400 lumens total, suitable for ambient lighting
How bright is it?
The integrated LED modules produce 1400 lumens combined (uplight and downlight), roughly equivalent to a 100-watt incandescent bulb. This is suitable for ambient lighting in medium-sized rooms, but not as a sole task light.
Light color and feel
The LEDs emit 3000K warm white light, similar to traditional incandescent bulbs, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. With a CRI of 90, colors appear vibrant and accurate, making it suitable for living spaces where decor matters.
Sizing and fit
This fan measures 52 inches in diameter and 17 inches in height (including the 5-inch downrod). It is designed for rooms with at least 8-foot ceilings. For higher ceilings, longer downrods (sold separately) can be used.
