Fanimation Stellar Custom 56in 8-Blade Ceiling Fan | Black with Opal Frosted LED | Covered Patio & Large Rooms | 56 x 56 x 14 in | Model MAD7997BLW

A modern 8-blade ceiling fan from Fanimation's Stellar Custom collection, finished in black with an integrated LED light kit. Designed for wet locations, it's perfect for large indoor or covered outdoor spaces.

The Stellar Custom offers a choice of blade sweeps (56, 64, or 72 inches) to fit your space. The integrated LED light provides bright, energy-efficient illumination, and the FanSync technology lets you control fan and light functions from your smart device. Its wet rating means it can handle direct exposure to rain, making it a versatile choice for patios and pergolas.

Best for

• Covered patios, verandas, and pergolas (wet-rated)
• Large living rooms, great rooms, and open-plan areas
• Outdoor kitchens and entertaining spaces
• Modern and contemporary interiors
• Homes seeking an Energy Star certified ceiling fan with integrated lighting

Not ideal for

• Small rooms under 10 x 10 feet - the 56-inch span is too large
• Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet - the fan's height and blade pitch require ample clearance
• Those who prefer a fan without a light kit

How bright is it?

The integrated LED module produces 1400 lumens - comparable to a 100W incandescent bulb. This is sufficient to light a large living room or covered patio area, but you may want additional lighting for task-oriented spaces.

Light color and feel

The LED emits 3000K warm white light - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. It flatters skin tones and warm wood finishes. With a CRI of 90, colors appear exceptionally accurate and vibrant.

Sizing and fit

The fan has a 56-inch blade span and an overall height of 14 inches. It is designed for large rooms (at least 15 x 15 feet) or covered outdoor areas. The downrod length is not specified, but a standard downrod is typically needed for ceilings higher than 8 feet.
