Description
A 96-inch flush-mount indoor/outdoor smart ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire DC Custom collection, finished in dark bronze with Koa wood blades.
The Spitfire DC Custom flush-mount pairs a streamlined dark bronze motor housing with three Koa wood blades for a warm, natural look that suits modern and transitional interiors. Its 6-speed DC motor delivers powerful yet quiet airflow up to 12,413 CFM, making it a commanding presence in great rooms, covered patios, and other expansive areas. With Wi-Fi enabled fanSync technology and the included TR360 handheld remote, you get convenient control over fan speed, reversing, and optional lighting (light kit sold separately).
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated motor and moisture-resistant blades perform reliably
- Great rooms and open-concept living areas with ceilings 10 ft or higher, where the 96-inch sweep provides substantial airflow
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need year-round comfort and a natural wood accent
- Large primary bedrooms or home offices where quiet, efficient air movement is a priority
- Rooms with low ceilings, as the flush mount keeps the fan close to the ceiling
Not ideal for
- Small rooms under 12 x 12 ft, where the 96-inch blade sweep would overwhelm the space
- Ceilings with a slope greater than 20 degrees, as this flush-mount model is designed for flat ceilings
- Areas directly exposed to rain or water, as this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, but it is compatible with an integrated 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately) that delivers 2000 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb - providing ample illumination for most living spaces. The light kit is dimmable for adjustable ambiance.
Light color and feel
When paired with the optional light kit, you can select from five color temperatures - 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K - ranging from warm, cozy light to bright daylight. With a CRI of 90, colors appear vivid and accurate, ideal for showcasing decor or artwork.
