Description
An 84-inch flush-mount smart ceiling fan without a light kit, designed for low-ceiling covered outdoor and indoor spaces, finished in matte white with natural buttonwood blades.
The Spitfire DC Custom flush-mount version brings the same powerful performance as the downrod model but mounts directly to the ceiling, making it ideal for rooms with lower ceilings. Its 6-speed DC motor delivers up to 10,688 CFM of airflow. It is compatible with an optional integrated LED light kit (sold separately) that offers five selectable color temperatures. With Wi-Fi fanSync technology and a handheld remote, you can control fan speed and reversing from your smart device or voice assistant.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches with low ceilings, providing powerful airflow without a light
- Living rooms and great rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, where a flush mount is needed
- Sunrooms and enclosed porches, adding comfort and air circulation
- Bedrooms with low ceilings, using the remote for quiet, energy-efficient cooling
- Open-concept spaces that benefit from a smart fan that integrates with home automation
Not ideal for
- Rooms that need a light fixture on the ceiling - this fan is compatible with a light kit, but it is sold separately
- Directly exposed outdoor areas without a roof - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Small rooms under 10x10 ft where an 84-inch fan would be overpowering
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so it does not provide illumination. If you add the optional light kit, it will provide up to 1600 lumens (about as bright as a 100W incandescent bulb).
Light color and feel
Not applicable - this fan is sold without a light kit. If you add the optional light kit, it offers selectable color temperatures from 2700K to 5000K with a high CRI of 90.
