Description
A 96-inch flush-mount smart ceiling fan for large covered outdoor and indoor spaces, finished in black with dark walnut blades.
The Spitfire DC Custom is a statement-scale ceiling fan that pairs a sleek black motor with three dark walnut blades for a warm, modern look. Its 6-speed DC motor delivers powerful yet quiet airflow up to 12,413 CFM, making it a workhorse for big rooms. This version is compatible with an optional 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately) featuring CCT Select technology, so you can choose from five color temperatures. Control everything with the included TR360 handheld remote or your smart device via Wi-Fi fanSync.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches where damp-rated fixtures are needed
- Great rooms and open-plan living areas with ceilings 10 ft or higher
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need year-round air movement
- Low-ceiling rooms where a flush mount is required
- Smart-home setups wanting voice or app control
Not ideal for
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you prefer a downrod mount
- Direct rain or water exposure - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Small rooms under 12 x 12 ft where a 96-inch sweep is overpowering
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit. When paired with the optional 18-watt LED module, it outputs 1600 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb - suitable for ambient lighting in a large room, not as a primary task light.
Light color and feel
With the optional light kit, you can select from 2700K (warm white) to 5000K (daylight) to match your mood. The 90 CRI rating ensures colors appear vibrant and accurate. The light is dimmable via the remote.
Sizing and fit
This flush-mount fan measures 96 inches in blade sweep and hangs just 9.65 inches from the ceiling, making it ideal for low ceilings. It's designed for flat ceilings; for sloped ceilings, consider the downrod version.
