Description
A 96-inch downrod smart ceiling fan with Whiskey Wood blades, designed for large indoor and covered outdoor spaces.
The Spitfire DC Custom combines a Brushed Satin Brass motor with three Whiskey Wood blades for a sophisticated, natural look. Its 6-speed DC motor delivers powerful airflow up to 12,413 CFM while staying quiet and energy-efficient. The included remote and Wi-Fi fanSync app control make it easy to adjust speed and settings, and it is compatible with an optional LED light kit for customizable lighting.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches where damp-rated fixtures are needed
- Great rooms and open-plan living areas with high ceilings
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need year-round comfort
- Large bedrooms or home gyms needing strong, quiet airflow
- Smart-home setups with voice assistant or app control
Not ideal for
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet - the downrod adds height, so flush-mount is better for low ceilings
- Areas directly exposed to rain or water - it is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Small rooms under 12x12 ft where a 96-inch sweep is overpowering
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit. If you add the optional 18-watt LED kit, it provides 1600 lumens - comparable to a 100W incandescent bulb, with dimmable output.
Light color and feel
With the optional light kit, you can choose from five color temperatures from 2700K warm white to 5000K daylight. Warm settings flatter wood and brass finishes; cooler settings are better for task areas. CRI of 90 ensures accurate color rendering.
Sizing and fit
The fan measures 96 inches in diameter and hangs 19.69 inches from the ceiling with the included 6-inch downrod (12-inch also included). It is designed for flat or slightly sloped ceilings (up to 20°). The 96-inch sweep is best for large spaces.
