Description
A 72-inch smart ceiling fan with a downrod mount, designed for indoor and covered outdoor spaces, featuring Brushed Satin Brass and Whiskey Wood blades.
The Spitfire DC Custom combines a sleek Brushed Satin Brass motor with three Whiskey Wood blades, offering a warm, natural aesthetic. Its powerful yet quiet DC motor delivers airflow up to 9,639 CFM, and it's compatible with an optional LED light kit for customizable lighting. Control it all with the included handheld remote or your smart device via Wi-Fi.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated construction handles humidity without direct rain exposure
- Sunrooms and large living areas needing powerful, quiet airflow up to 9,639 CFM
- Rooms with standard or slightly sloped ceilings, thanks to the included 6-inch and 12-inch downrods
- Smart home setups, with Wi-Fi control via the fanSync app and voice assistants
- Energy-conscious households, with a reversible DC motor for year-round efficiency
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water, as this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with low ceilings, as the downrod adds height; consider the flush-mount version instead
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, but it is compatible with an optional integrated LED light kit (sold separately) that produces up to 1600 lumens, comparable to a 100-watt incandescent bulb.
Light color and feel
When a light kit is added, you can choose from five color temperatures (2700K to 5000K) via CCT Select technology, allowing you to shift from warm to daylight. With a CRI of 90, colors appear vivid and accurate.
Sizing and fit
This fan measures 72 inches in diameter and hangs 19.69 inches from the ceiling with the included 12-inch downrod. Ideal for ceilings at least 8 feet high, it provides ample clearance for most rooms.
