Description
A 60-inch flush-mount ceiling fan without a light kit, designed for low ceilings and damp-rated for covered outdoor spaces.
The Spitfire Flush in a 60-inch sweep offers a sleek three-blade design in matte black and black buttonwood blades. The close-to-ceiling mount keeps a low profile, making it ideal for rooms with 8-foot ceilings or less. This version is light-kit compatible, so you can add the optional LED kit later if needed. The reversible AC motor delivers powerful airflow up to 4,006 CFM.
Best for
- Rooms with low ceilings (under 8 ft) where a downrod mount won't fit
- Large covered patios and porches, where the 60-inch sweep moves air effectively
- Great rooms and open-plan living areas over 20x20 ft
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high humidity, thanks to the damp rating
- Smart home setups - compatible with Fanimation fanSync and most smart devices (control sold separately)
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Small rooms under 12x12 ft - the 60-inch sweep may be overpowering
- Sloped ceilings - this flush mount is designed for flat ceilings only
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit. If you add the optional 18-watt LED light kit, it produces 1500 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb - suitable for ambient lighting.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional LED light kit, it offers 3000K warm white with a CRI of 90 - a soft, golden tone that flatters skin tones and warm interiors. The light is dimmable via the included TR500 remote.
Sizing and fit
With a 60-inch blade sweep and 9.5-inch height from ceiling to bottom (without light kit), this fan fits rooms at least 18x18 ft. The flush mount keeps the fan just 9.5 inches from the ceiling, making it perfect for 8-foot ceilings. The canopy is 7.85 inches in diameter, and the lead wire is 80 inches long.
