Description
A 60-inch flush-mount three-blade ceiling fan for low ceilings, finished in brushed nickel with Koa wood blades, ideal for covered patios and sunrooms.
The Spitfire Flush mount delivers the same sleek, modern design as the standard Spitfire but mounts directly to the ceiling, making it perfect for rooms with lower ceilings. The brushed nickel motor housing is durable and moisture-resistant, while the Koa wood blades add a natural, warm touch. This fan is damp-rated, so it can handle humidity in covered outdoor areas and bathrooms, but it should not be directly exposed to rain.
Best for
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft, where the flush mount keeps the fan close to the ceiling
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated motor and moisture-resistant blades handle humidity without worry
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need reliable airflow in a stylish package
- Large living rooms and great rooms (15x20 ft or larger) where the 60-inch sweep provides strong circulation
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high ceilings, where the damp rating allows safe use in humid conditions
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas with direct rain or water exposure - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with very high ceilings (over 12 ft) where a downrod mount would provide better airflow distribution
- Small spaces under 100 sq ft where a 60-inch fan may feel oversized
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the optional LED light kit (sold separately). The compatible 18-watt LED module delivers 1500 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb - and is dimmable for adjustable ambiance.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional LED light kit, it emits 3000K warm white light - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. With a CRI of 90, it renders colors accurately, making it suitable for living areas and kitchens. The light is dimmable, and the included TR500 remote allows infinite light levels.
Sizing and fit
The fan measures 60 inches in diameter and hangs just 9.5 inches from the ceiling, making it ideal for low ceilings. It mounts flush to a flat ceiling using the included ceiling bracket. The canopy is 7.85 inches in diameter, and the lead wire is 80 inches long.
