Description
A 60-inch flush-mount ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, designed for low ceilings and damp locations, finished in black with natural buttonwood blades.
The Spitfire Flush mounts directly to the ceiling, making it ideal for rooms with 8-foot ceilings or lower. Its three natural buttonwood blades contrast beautifully with the matte black motor housing, creating a modern, organic look. The powerful AC motor delivers up to 4,006 CFM, and the reversible airflow provides year-round comfort. The included TR500 remote controls three speeds, a timer, and optional light settings.
Best for
- Covered porches and patios with low ceilings, where the flush mount saves space
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms with standard 8-ft ceilings
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high humidity (damp-rated, not for direct rain)
- Bedrooms or living rooms with low ceilings where a downrod fan won't fit
- Homes with flat ceilings only - this model does not support sloped ceilings
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas exposed directly to rain or water - this is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Sloped or vaulted ceilings - the flush mount requires a flat ceiling
- Very large rooms over 20x20 ft where a downrod fan might provide better airflow
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit. If you add the optional 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately), it delivers 1,500 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb, bright enough for ambient lighting in a medium room.
Light color and feel
With the optional LED kit, the light is 3000K warm white - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent. It flatters skin tones and warm wood finishes, and with a CRI of 90, it renders colors accurately. The light is dimmable via the included remote or compatible smart controls.
Sizing and fit
The fan measures 60 inches in blade sweep and hangs just 9.5 inches from the ceiling, making it perfect for low ceilings. The canopy is 7.85 inches in diameter. It mounts flush to a flat ceiling using the included bracket.
