Description
A 60-inch damp-rated ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, designed for covered outdoor and indoor spaces, finished in matte white with natural buttonwood blades.
The Spitfire combines a sleek three-blade aesthetic with a powerful AC motor, delivering airflow up to 5,227 CFM. Its matte white finish and natural buttonwood blades bring a warm, organic touch to any room. Damp-rated, it's built to withstand moisture and humidity, making it a versatile choice for covered patios, sunrooms, and large interiors. The included TR500 remote offers convenient control of fan speeds and optional light kit (sold separately).
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where damp-rated construction handles humidity without direct rain exposure
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms needing high airflow up to 5,227 CFM
- Large living rooms and great rooms (15x20 ft or larger) as a primary cooling fan
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high humidity, thanks to its damp rating
- Bedrooms and offices where reversible airflow supports year-round comfort
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water - damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 7 ft unless using a flush mount kit (sold separately)
- Small spaces under 100 sq ft where 60-inch blade sweep may be overpowering
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit. It is compatible with an optional 18-watt dimmable LED light kit (sold separately) that provides 1,500 lumens - about as bright as a 100W incandescent bulb, suitable for ambient lighting in medium to large rooms.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional LED light kit, it emits 3000K warm white light - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. With a CRI of 90, it renders colors accurately, making it a good choice for living spaces and kitchens. The light is dimmable via the included TR500 remote.
Sizing and fit
This fan has a 60-inch blade sweep and overall dimensions of 60 x 60 x 12 inches. It comes with a 4.5-inch downrod, and optional downrods up to 72 inches are available to achieve the optimal 7-9 ft hanging height. Designed for flat or slightly sloped ceilings up to 19 degrees.
