Description
A 60-inch indoor/outdoor ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, finished in antique graphite with three Koa wood blades, designed for damp locations like covered patios and sunrooms.
The Spitfire pairs a sleek three-blade silhouette with a warm Koa wood finish, creating a modern yet organic look that suits contemporary and transitional spaces. Its damp-rated construction means it can handle humidity and moisture, making it a versatile choice for both indoor and covered outdoor areas. With reversible airflow and a powerful AC motor, it delivers year-round comfort and energy efficiency.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, providing a cooling breeze without direct rain exposure
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms where humidity and moisture are a concern
- Large living rooms and great rooms up to 400 sq ft, with airflow up to 5,227 CFM
- Bedrooms and home offices, using the reversible motor for winter warmth
- Spaces with sloped ceilings up to 19 degrees, using the included 4.5-inch downrod
Not ideal for
- Areas directly exposed to rain or water, as it is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet if you need a hanging installation; consider a flush mount option
- Small spaces under 100 sq ft where a 60-inch sweep may be overpowering
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness is not applicable. If you need integrated lighting, consider the Spitfire model with an LED light kit (sold separately or in a bundle).
Light color and feel
No light kit included, so color temperature and CRI are not applicable. For lighting, pair with a separate light source or choose the LED-integrated version.
Sizing and fit
The fan measures 60 inches in blade sweep and 12 inches from ceiling to bottom (without light kit). It includes a 4.5-inch downrod and is designed for flat or sloped ceilings up to 19 degrees. Optional downrods up to 72 inches are available for higher ceilings.
