Description
A 60-inch damp-rated ceiling fan with a brushed satin brass LED light kit, designed for covered outdoor and indoor spaces like patios, porches, sunrooms, and bathrooms.
The Spitfire combines a sleek three-blade design with powerful airflow and a warm, dimmable LED light. Finished in black with black buttonwood blades and a brushed satin brass light kit, this fan adds a touch of elegance to any space. The included TR500 remote offers convenient control of speeds and light levels, and the reversible motor ensures year-round comfort.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, providing cooling airflow and ambient light in damp-rated outdoor areas
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms where moisture resistance is needed
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high humidity, as the damp rating handles moisture well
- Living rooms and bedrooms with ceilings at least 8 feet high, using the included 4.5-inch downrod
- Smart home setups, as it is compatible with Fanimation Wi-Fi fanSync and most smart home devices (control sold separately)
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water, as it is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 7 feet, as the fan hangs 13.71 inches from the ceiling with the light kit
- Those seeking a flush-mount installation, as this model uses a downrod (a flush kit is available separately)
How bright is it?
The integrated LED module produces 1500 lumens, roughly equivalent to a 100-watt incandescent bulb. This provides ample ambient light for a medium-sized room, but it is not designed to be the sole light source for very large spaces.
Light color and feel
The LED emits a warm 3000K color temperature, similar to traditional incandescent lighting, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. With a CRI of 90, colors appear vibrant and accurate, making it suitable for living areas and bedrooms. The light is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
With a 60-inch blade sweep, this fan is ideal for rooms up to 400 square feet. The overall dimensions are 60 inches wide, 60 inches deep, and 13.71 inches high (with light kit). It comes with a 4.5-inch downrod, and optional downrods up to 72 inches are available for higher ceilings. The canopy fits flat or sloped ceilings up to 19 degrees.
