Description
A 48-inch flush-mount ceiling fan with a brushed satin brass finish and whiskey wood blades, designed for rooms with low ceilings and damp-rated for covered outdoor use.
The Spitfire Flush Mount delivers the same sleek three-blade design as the standard Spitfire but mounts directly to the ceiling, making it ideal for spaces with 8-foot ceilings or lower. The brushed satin brass motor housing and warm whiskey wood blades create a modern, sophisticated look that complements coastal and transitional interiors. With a powerful AC motor delivering up to 4,995 CFM, it keeps medium to large rooms comfortable. The included TR500 remote offers convenient control, and the reversible motor ensures year-round comfort.
Best for
- Rooms with low ceilings (under 8 feet) where a downrod mount would be too tall
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to the damp-rated construction
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need reliable airflow
- Bedrooms and home offices where a flush mount keeps the fan close to the ceiling
- Homes with smart assistants - compatible with Fanimation fanSync and most smart home systems (control sold separately)
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Large rooms over 400 square feet where a 60-inch fan would be more effective
- Sloped ceilings - this flush mount is designed for flat ceilings only
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the optional 18-watt LED module (sold separately). That module delivers 1,500 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100-watt incandescent bulb - suitable for ambient lighting in a medium room.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional LED light kit, it emits 3000K warm white light - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. With a CRI of 90, colors appear natural and vibrant, making it a good choice for living areas and bedrooms. The light is dimmable when used with the included TR500 remote.
Sizing and fit
This 48-inch fan fits rooms from 100 to 400 square feet. The overall dimensions are 48 inches wide by 48 inches deep by 9.5 inches high from ceiling to bottom. It mounts flush to a flat ceiling using the included bracket, making it perfect for rooms with 8-foot ceilings or lower.
