Description
A 48-inch flush-mount ceiling fan with integrated LED light from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, finished in brushed nickel with three Koa wood blades, designed for low ceilings and damp-rated for covered outdoor spaces.
The Spitfire Flush with LED light combines the sleek three-blade design with a close-to-ceiling mount, making it perfect for rooms with lower ceilings. The brushed nickel finish and Koa wood blades add natural elegance, while the integrated 18-watt LED module provides warm, dimmable illumination. With a reversible motor and smart home compatibility, it's a versatile choice for year-round comfort.
Best for
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft, thanks to the flush mount that keeps the fan close to the ceiling
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp rating protects against humidity and moisture
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need reliable airflow and lighting without direct rain exposure
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms, where moisture resistance is a priority
- Smart home setups, as it's compatible with Fanimation fanSync and most smart devices (control sold separately)
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water, as the damp rating does not cover wet locations
- Rooms with very high ceilings where a downrod would be more appropriate for optimal airflow
- Those who prefer a fan without a light kit, as this model includes one
How bright is it?
The integrated LED module produces 1500 lumens, roughly equivalent to a 100-watt incandescent bulb, providing ample ambient light for medium to large rooms. It's dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit your mood.
Light color and feel
The LED emits 3000K warm white light, a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. With a CRI of 90, it renders colors accurately, making it suitable for living spaces and kitchens. The light is dimmable via the included TR500 remote.
Sizing and fit
With a 48-inch blade sweep and overall dimensions of 48 x 48 x 11.21 inches, this fan suits medium to large rooms. The flush mount brings the ceiling-to-bottom height to just 11.21 inches with the light kit, making it ideal for low ceilings. It fits flat ceilings only.
