Description
A 48-inch flush-mount ceiling fan with three Koa wood blades and a brushed satin brass finish, designed for low ceilings and damp-rated for covered outdoor spaces.
The Spitfire Flush mounts directly to the ceiling, making it a smart choice for rooms with low ceilings while keeping the fan's sleek three-blade aesthetic. The Koa wood blades and brushed satin brass finish bring warmth and sophistication to any space. Its reversible AC motor delivers strong airflow, and the included TR500 remote puts control at your fingertips. Damp-rated, it handles humidity in bathrooms, sunrooms, and covered patios.
Best for
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft, where a flush mount keeps headroom clear
- Covered patios and porches, mounted on a flat ceiling
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms with high humidity
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms rated for damp locations
- Smart home setups, compatible with Fanimation Wi-Fi fanSync and most smart home devices (controls sold separately)
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water, as this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Sloped ceilings, as the flush mount requires a flat ceiling
- Small spaces under 8x8 ft, where a 48-inch sweep may feel overpowering
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the optional 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately), which delivers 1500 lumens—about as bright as a 100W incandescent bulb, ideal for ambient lighting in a living room or bedroom.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional LED light kit, it emits 3000K warm white light—a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. With a CRI of 90, it renders colors accurately, making it a good choice for spaces with wood tones or artwork. The light is dimmable when paired with the included TR500 remote.
Sizing and fit
This fan measures 48 inches wide, 48 inches deep, and 9.5 inches high from ceiling to bottom (without a light kit). It mounts flush to a flat ceiling using the included bracket, making it ideal for low ceilings. The canopy is 7.85 inches in diameter, and the housing is 8.07 inches.
