Description
A 48-inch flush-mount ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, finished in brushed nickel with three buttonwood blades, ideal for low ceilings and covered outdoor spaces.
The Spitfire Flush mount brings the collection's sleek three-blade design closer to the ceiling, making it perfect for rooms with limited clearance. Its damp rating allows use in covered patios, sunrooms, and bathrooms, while the reversible motor ensures year-round comfort. With a 3-speed AC motor and included handheld remote, this fan delivers efficient airflow in a compact profile.
Best for
- Rooms with low ceilings, as the flush mount keeps the fan just 9.5 inches from the ceiling
- Covered patios and porches, where damp-rated construction handles humidity without direct rain exposure
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms needing consistent airflow up to 4,995 CFM
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high humidity, thanks to the damp location rating
- Smart home setups, as it's compatible with Fanimation fanSync and most smart devices (controls sold separately)
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water, as the damp rating does not cover wet locations
- Rooms with sloped ceilings, as the flush mount is designed for flat ceilings only
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness is not applicable. If you need illumination, consider the Spitfire with an integrated LED light kit (sold separately).
Light color and feel
No light included, so color temperature and CRI are not applicable. The fan's brushed nickel finish and buttonwood blades create a neutral, modern look that complements most palettes.
Sizing and fit
With a 48-inch blade sweep and overall dimensions of 48 x 48 x 9.5 inches, this fan suits medium to large rooms. The flush mount design places the fan just 9.5 inches from the ceiling, ideal for rooms with 8-foot ceilings or lower. It is designed for flat ceilings only.
