Description
A 48-inch damp-rated ceiling fan without a light kit, designed for covered outdoor spaces and large indoor rooms.
The Spitfire combines a sleek three-blade design with a matte white motor housing and whiskey wood blades, bringing a modern yet organic feel to any space. This version is designed for use with an optional LED light kit (sold separately), allowing you to customize your lighting. Built for damp locations, it's a versatile choice for patios, sunrooms, and living areas.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, providing airflow without direct rain exposure
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms where humidity and moisture are a concern
- Large living rooms and great rooms up to 400 sq ft, as a primary cooling source
- Bedrooms and home offices needing quiet, energy-efficient air circulation
- Indoor spaces with 8-9 ft ceilings, using the included 4.5-inch downrod
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft, unless using the optional flush mount kit
- Spaces where you need a light source, as the light kit is not included
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the optional LED light kit you choose. The compatible 18-watt LED module produces 1500 lumens, but it is sold separately.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional LED light kit, it offers a 3000K warm white light with a CRI of 90, providing accurate color rendering. However, without the kit, this fan provides no illumination.
Sizing and fit
With a 48-inch blade sweep and a 12-inch overall height, this fan suits rooms of 100-400 sq ft. The included 4.5-inch downrod works for standard 8-9 ft ceilings; optional downrods up to 72 inches are available for higher ceilings. The canopy fits flat or slightly sloped ceilings up to 19 degrees.
