Description
A 48-inch damp-rated ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, designed for covered patios, sunrooms, and large indoor spaces.
The Spitfire combines a sleek three-blade design with a matte black motor housing and weathered wood blades, bringing a modern industrial touch to any room. The included LED light kit offers warm 3000K illumination with a choice of fresnel or frosted shades, and the reversible motor ensures year-round comfort. Compatible with most smart home systems (control sold separately), it's as convenient as it is stylish.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp rating protects against humidity
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need both airflow and light
- Large living rooms or great rooms up to 15 x 15 ft, mounted on flat or sloped ceilings up to 19°
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high ceilings, where moisture resistance is a plus
- Bedrooms and home offices seeking a modern, energy-efficient fan with integrated lighting
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the fan to hang low - the included 4.5-inch downrod requires at least 7 ft clearance
- Small spaces under 10 x 10 ft, where the 48-inch blade sweep may feel overpowering
How bright is it?
The integrated LED module produces 1500 lumens - about as bright as a 100W incandescent bulb. This is suitable for ambient lighting in medium to large rooms, but not as a primary task light for reading or detailed work.
Light color and feel
3000K warm white - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent lighting. With a CRI of 90, colors appear natural and vibrant, making it a good choice for living spaces and kitchens. The light is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright to cozy.
Sizing and fit
This fan measures 48 inches in blade sweep and 13.71 inches from ceiling to bottom with the light kit. It fits rooms at least 12 x 12 ft, with a recommended ceiling height of 8 ft or more. The included 4.5-inch downrod can be replaced with longer options (up to 72 inches) for higher ceilings.
