Description
A 48-inch damp-rated ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, designed for covered outdoor spaces and large indoor rooms.
The Spitfire pairs a sleek three-blade silhouette with warm Koa wood blades and a matte black motor housing. The included LED light kit offers both fresnel and frosted shades, letting you switch between a crisp or diffused glow. Built for humid environments, it moves air efficiently while adding a modern, sculptural touch to patios, sunrooms, and open-plan interiors.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated motor and moisture-resistant blades handle humidity without direct rain exposure
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need year-round air movement and supplemental light
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high humidity, where the damp rating ensures reliable performance
- Open-plan living areas up to 400 sq ft, providing strong airflow at up to 5,176 CFM
- Bedrooms and home offices, with the included remote for easy speed and light control from bed or desk
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water spray - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft if you prefer a longer downrod for optimal airflow - the included 4.5-inch downrod places the fan close to the ceiling
- Spaces where you want a completely silent fan - the AC motor is audible at higher speeds
How bright is it?
The integrated 18-watt LED module produces 1,500 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100-watt incandescent bulb. This is bright enough to serve as the primary light in a medium-sized room, but it's best paired with additional lighting for task areas like kitchen counters or reading nooks.
Light color and feel
The LED emits a warm 3000K white light, similar to traditional incandescent bulbs, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. With a CRI of 90, colors appear vibrant and true, making it suitable for living spaces where you want accurate color rendering. The light is dimmable, and the included remote allows you to adjust brightness to your preferred level.
Sizing and fit
This fan has a 48-inch blade sweep and an overall height of 13.71 inches when installed with the included 4.5-inch downrod. It's designed for flat or slightly sloped ceilings (up to 19 degrees). For higher ceilings, optional downrods up to 72 inches are available to achieve the recommended 7-9 ft hanging height. The canopy is 7.09 inches in diameter, and the fan weighs 21.26 lbs.
