Description
A 48-inch damp-rated flush-mount ceiling fan with a sleek black and matte white design, ideal for low ceilings and covered outdoor spaces.
The Spitfire Flush features a minimalist three-blade aesthetic with matte white blades contrasting against a matte black motor housing. Its close-to-ceiling mount keeps the profile low, making it perfect for rooms with limited clearance. Designed for damp locations, it withstands humidity and moisture, making it ideal for patios, sunrooms, and bathrooms. With reversible airflow and a powerful AC motor, it delivers year-round comfort and style.
Best for
- Rooms with low ceilings (under 8 ft) where a downrod fan would hang too low
- Covered patios and porches, with a damp-rated motor and moisture-resistant blades
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms needing efficient air movement
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high humidity, where the damp rating ensures reliable performance
- Modern and contemporary interiors, where the black and white palette complements clean lines
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water spray - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings higher than 9 ft, as the flush mount may not provide optimal airflow distribution
- Spaces where you want a completely silent fan - the AC motor is audible at higher speeds
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on your existing room lighting. It is compatible with an optional 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately) that produces 1,500 lumens if you choose to add one.
Light color and feel
No light kit is included, so there is no integrated light color. If you add the optional LED kit, it emits a warm 3000K white light with a CRI of 90, similar to traditional incandescent bulbs.
Sizing and fit
This fan has a 48-inch blade sweep and an overall height of 9.5 inches when mounted flush to the ceiling. It's designed for flat ceilings only. The canopy is 7.85 inches in diameter, and the fan weighs 21.72 lbs. The close-to-ceiling design makes it a great choice for rooms with low ceilings.
