Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? This is a ceiling fan motor, not a light fixture. The fan has 3 speeds and is controlled via a remote (not included). If you add the optional LED light kit, dimming capability is not specified.

Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? This fan is damp-rated, making it suitable for covered outdoor areas like patios and porches, as well as bathrooms with adequate ventilation. It is not wet-rated for direct rain exposure.
