Description
A 48-inch damp-rated ceiling fan for covered patios, sunrooms, and large indoor living spaces, finished in dark bronze with dark walnut blades.
The Spitfire pairs a sleek three-blade silhouette with a rich dark bronze motor housing and warm dark walnut blades, giving it a modern-industrial look that suits both outdoor covered areas and contemporary interiors. Its AC motor delivers strong airflow while the included TR500 handheld remote puts speed and light control at your fingertips. Designed for damp locations, it stands up to humidity without direct rain exposure.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where damp-rated construction resists humidity
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms needing year-round air movement
- Large bedrooms and living rooms up to 15x15 ft, with 5,176 CFM high-speed airflow
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high humidity (damp-rated)
- Homes with sloped ceilings up to 19 degrees, using the included 4.5-inch downrod
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft if you need a long downrod for optimal hanging height
- Small spaces under 100 sq ft where a 48-inch sweep may feel oversized
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the optional LED light kit (sold separately). The compatible 18-watt LED module delivers 1,500 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb - suitable for ambient lighting in a medium room.
Light color and feel
When paired with the optional LED light kit, the 3000K warm white light creates a soft, golden glow similar to traditional incandescent bulbs, flattering warm wood and bronze finishes. With a CRI of 90, colors appear accurate and vibrant, ideal for living spaces and kitchens. The light is dimmable when used with the included TR500 remote.
Sizing and fit
This 48-inch fan has an overall height of 12 inches from ceiling to bottom (without light kit) and a housing diameter of 8.07 inches. It includes a 4.5-inch downrod; optional downrods up to 72 inches are available to achieve the recommended 7-9 ft hanging height. Designed for flat or sloped ceilings up to 19 degrees.
