Description
A 48-inch indoor/outdoor ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, finished in brushed nickel with three Koa wood blades, for covered patios, sunrooms, and large living spaces.
The Spitfire blends a sleek three-blade aesthetic with the natural warmth of Koa wood, creating a fan that feels both modern and organic. Its damp-rated construction means it can handle humidity and moisture, making it a versatile choice for covered outdoor areas and bathrooms alike. With a powerful yet efficient AC motor and reversible airflow, it keeps you comfortable year-round.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp rating protects against humidity and moisture
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need reliable airflow without direct rain exposure
- Large bedrooms and living rooms up to 18x20 ft, mounted with the included 4.5-inch downrod
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms, where moisture resistance is a priority
- Smart home setups, as it's compatible with Fanimation fanSync and most smart devices (control sold separately)
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water, as the damp rating does not cover wet locations
- Rooms with ceilings lower than 8 ft if you need the fan to hang at the optimal 7-9 ft height without a shorter downrod
- Those seeking a light kit, as this model does not include one (sold separately)
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness is not applicable. If you need illumination, consider the version with an integrated LED light kit.
Light color and feel
Not applicable, as this model is a fan only.
