Description
A 48-inch indoor/outdoor ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, finished in matte white with whiskey wood blades, for covered patios, porches, and sunrooms.
The Spitfire combines a sleek three-blade design with the warmth of whiskey wood blades against a matte white motor housing. Its damp-rated construction stands up to humidity, while the reversible AC motor delivers year-round comfort. The included LED light kit offers dimmable, warm illumination, and the fan works with most smart home systems when paired with the optional control.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches where the fan is protected from direct rain
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need airflow and light
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high humidity (damp-rated)
- Bedrooms and living areas with 8-9 ft ceilings using the included 4.5-inch downrod
- Open-plan spaces up to 15 x 15 ft that benefit from 5,176 CFM airflow
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas exposed directly to rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft if you prefer a flush mount (consider the close-to-ceiling version)
- Spaces needing a bright primary light - 1,500 lumens is accent-level, not room-filling
How bright is it?
1,500 lumens - about as bright as a 100W incandescent bulb. This is suitable for ambient lighting in a medium room, but you may want additional task lighting for reading or detailed work.
Light color and feel
3000K warm white - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent. It flatters wood finishes and creates a cozy atmosphere. With a CRI of 90, colors appear accurate, making it a good choice for spaces where you want natural-looking light. The light is dimmable, and the included remote allows infinite light levels.
Sizing and fit
This fan measures 48 inches in blade sweep and 13.71 inches from ceiling to bottom with the light kit. It comes with a 4.5-inch downrod for flat or slightly sloped ceilings (up to 19°). Optional downrods up to 72 inches are available for higher ceilings. The canopy is 7.09 inches in diameter, and the housing is 8.07 inches.
