Description
A 48-inch damp-rated ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, designed for covered outdoor spaces and large indoor rooms.
The Spitfire combines a sleek three-blade design with a matte white motor housing and weathered wood blades, bringing a modern yet organic feel to any space. Its integrated 18-watt LED module provides warm, dimmable light, while the included TR500 remote offers convenient control. Built for damp locations, it's a versatile choice for patios, sunrooms, and living areas.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, providing airflow and light without direct rain exposure
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms where humidity and moisture are a concern
- Large living rooms and great rooms up to 400 sq ft, as a primary cooling source
- Bedrooms and home offices needing quiet, energy-efficient air circulation
- Indoor spaces with 8-9 ft ceilings, using the included 4.5-inch downrod
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft, unless using the optional flush mount kit
- Small spaces under 100 sq ft where the 48-inch sweep may feel overpowering
How bright is it?
The integrated LED module produces 1500 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb. This is bright enough to serve as a primary light source in a medium-sized room, and it's dimmable to create a softer ambiance when needed.
Light color and feel
The 3000K color temperature emits a warm white light, similar to traditional incandescent bulbs, which flatters skin tones and warm wood finishes. With a CRI of 90, colors appear vivid and accurate, making it suitable for spaces where you want true-to-life illumination.
Sizing and fit
With a 48-inch blade sweep and a 13.71-inch overall height (including light kit), this fan suits rooms of 100-400 sq ft. The included 4.5-inch downrod works for standard 8-9 ft ceilings; optional downrods up to 72 inches are available for higher ceilings. The canopy fits flat or slightly sloped ceilings up to 19 degrees.
