Description
A 48-inch damp-rated ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, designed for covered outdoor spaces and large indoor rooms.
The Spitfire pairs a sleek three-blade silhouette with a matte white motor housing and washed white buttonwood blades, giving it a clean, contemporary look that suits coastal and modern interiors. The included LED light kit offers warm, dimmable illumination, and the fan's reversible motor delivers year-round comfort. With a damp location rating, it's built to handle humidity in covered patios, sunrooms, and bathrooms.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, providing cooling airflow without direct rain exposure
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms where humidity is a concern
- Large bathrooms and laundry rooms, rated for damp environments
- Open-plan living areas up to 400 sq ft, with airflow up to 5,176 CFM
- Bedrooms and home offices, with a quiet 3-speed motor and remote control
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft when using longer downrods - the included 4.5-inch downrod works best for standard 8-9 ft ceilings
- Spaces requiring a flush mount - this model uses a downrod; consider the flush-mount version for low ceilings
How bright is it?
The integrated LED module produces 1,500 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb. This is bright enough for ambient lighting in a living room or bedroom, but not intended as a primary task light.
Light color and feel
3000K warm white - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent lighting. With a CRI of 90, it renders colors accurately, making it suitable for spaces with artwork or warm wood finishes. The light is dimmable, and the included TR500 remote allows infinite light levels.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 48 inches wide by 48 inches deep by 13.71 inches high. The fan hangs 13.71 inches from the ceiling with the light kit, and the included 4.5-inch downrod is ideal for 8-foot ceilings. Optional downrods up to 72 inches are available for higher ceilings. The canopy is 7.09 inches in diameter.
