Description
A 48-inch damp-rated ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, finished in brushed satin brass with whiskey wood blades, ideal for covered outdoor spaces and large living areas.
The Spitfire with LED light kit combines the sleek three-blade design with the convenience of built-in illumination. The brushed satin brass motor housing and warm whiskey wood blades create a modern, sophisticated look, while the integrated 18-watt LED module provides 1,500 lumens of warm, dimmable light. With a powerful AC motor delivering up to 5,176 CFM, it moves air efficiently in rooms up to 400 square feet. The included TR500 remote controls both fan speed and light levels, and the reversible motor ensures year-round comfort.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated construction handles humidity without direct rain exposure
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need both airflow and ambient light
- Large living rooms and great rooms (up to 400 sq ft) with standard or slightly sloped ceilings
- Bedrooms and home offices where a single fixture provides both cooling and warm illumination
- Homes with smart assistants - compatible with Fanimation fanSync and most smart home systems (control sold separately)
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet unless you use a close-to-ceiling mount (downrod included is 4.5 inches)
- Small spaces under 100 square feet where a 48-inch sweep may feel oversized
How bright is it?
The integrated LED light kit delivers 1,500 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100-watt incandescent bulb. This is sufficient for ambient lighting in a medium to large room, but not for task lighting like reading or detailed work.
Light color and feel
The LED module emits 3000K warm white light - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. With a CRI of 90, colors appear natural and vibrant, making it a good choice for living areas and bedrooms. The light is dimmable via the included TR500 remote, allowing you to adjust brightness to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
This 48-inch fan fits rooms from 100 to 400 square feet. The overall dimensions are 48 inches wide by 48 inches deep by 13.71 inches high from ceiling to bottom (with light kit). It includes a 4.5-inch downrod for flat or sloped ceilings (up to 19 degrees), and optional downrods up to 72 inches are available to achieve the recommended 7-9 foot hanging height.
