Description
A massive 84-inch ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, finished in dark bronze with dark walnut composite blades, designed for large covered outdoor and indoor spaces.
The Odyn by Fanimation commands attention with its grand 84-inch blade sweep and nine sculpted blades. The dark bronze motor housing pairs with dark walnut blades for a rich, masculine look that anchors great rooms, covered patios, and open-plan living areas. Its DC motor is up to 70% more energy-efficient than standard AC motors, and the integrated LED light provides bright, energy-saving illumination.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where the wet-rated construction withstands direct rain and humidity
- Great rooms and open-plan living areas with ceilings 10 ft or higher
- Large primary bedrooms and home gyms needing powerful airflow
- Commercial spaces like restaurants and lobbies with high ceilings
- Spaces with sloped ceilings, as the fan includes a 4.5-inch downrod and accepts longer downrods
Not ideal for
- Small rooms under 12x12 ft, where the 84-inch sweep will overwhelm the space
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft, as the fan hangs 16.64 inches from the ceiling
- Indoor-only applications if you prefer a less dominant fixture
How bright is it?
The integrated 18-watt LED module produces 1400 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100-watt incandescent bulb. This is suitable for ambient lighting in large rooms, but not as a primary task light.
Light color and feel
At 3000K, the light is warm white - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent. It flatters skin tones and warm wood or bronze interiors. With a CRI of 90, colors appear vibrant and accurate. The light is dimmable, and the included remote allows you to adjust brightness.
Sizing and fit
This fan measures 84 inches in diameter and 16.64 inches from ceiling to bottom with the light kit. It is designed for flat or sloped ceilings and comes with a 4.5-inch downrod. Optional downrods up to 72 inches are available for higher ceilings.
