Description
A 52-inch indoor/outdoor smart ceiling fan from Fanimation's Islander DC collection, finished in brushed satin brass with matte white palm-inspired blades - ideal for covered patios, sunrooms, and large living spaces.
The Islander DC brings a tropical yet refined aesthetic to any room. Its wide oval blades and streamlined housing evoke a calm, resort-like feel, while the energy-efficient DC motor delivers powerful airflow with whisper-quiet operation. With Wi-Fi fanSync technology, you can control the fan from your smart device or voice assistant, and the included TR360 remote offers six speeds, reverse, and Fresh Air mode for year-round comfort.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated motor and moisture-resistant blades handle humidity without direct rain exposure
- Sunrooms and large living rooms up to 400 sq ft, providing strong airflow up to 4,865 CFM
- Bedrooms and home offices, with six speeds and a quiet DC motor for gentle breezes or powerful cooling
- Rooms with sloped ceilings up to 27 degrees, using the included 6-inch downrod or optional longer downrods
- Year-round comfort in any climate, with a reversible motor for summer downdraft and winter updraft
Not ideal for
- Spaces with ceilings under 7 feet, as the fan hangs 16.26 inches from the ceiling and needs clearance
- Areas directly exposed to rain or water, despite its damp rating - it is not wet-rated
- Rooms where you need a light kit, as this model does not support light kits
How bright is it?
This ceiling fan does not include a light kit, so brightness is not applicable. It is designed for airflow and comfort, not illumination.
Light color and feel
No lighting included, so color temperature and dimming do not apply. The fan's operation is silent and smooth, enhancing the ambiance without visual distraction.
