Description
A 52-inch indoor/outdoor smart ceiling fan with a dark bronze motor housing and natural narrow oval palm-inspired composite blades, ideal for covered patios, porches, sunrooms, bathrooms, and laundry rooms.
The Islander DC by Fanimation brings a tropical, resort-like feel to your home while delivering powerful, energy-efficient airflow. Its streamlined dark bronze housing and natural narrow oval blades evoke a relaxed, coastal aesthetic that suits both indoor and covered outdoor spaces. The DC motor is quiet, reversible, and offers six speeds, so you can fine-tune the breeze from a gentle whisper to a strong cooling flow. With Wi-Fi fanSync, you can control the fan from your smart device or voice assistant, and the included TR360 remote puts all functions at your fingertips.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated motor and moisture-resistant blades handle humidity without direct rain exposure
- Sunrooms and enclosed porches that need consistent airflow and a tropical design accent
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms, where the damp rating ensures reliable performance in humid environments
- Living rooms and bedrooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, mounted with the included 6-inch downrod or an optional longer downrod
- Homes with sloped ceilings up to 27 degrees, thanks to the fan's adaptable mounting system
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water spray, as the fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 7 ft, as the fan requires a minimum hanging height for safe and effective airflow
- Spaces where you need a light kit, as this model does not support light kits
How bright is it?
This ceiling fan does not include a light kit, so brightness is not applicable. It is designed for airflow and comfort, not illumination.
Light color and feel
Not applicable, as this fan has no lighting function.
