Description
An 18-inch downrod for ceiling fans, finished in plated brushed nickel, for mounting your fan at the ideal height in rooms with high or sloped ceilings.
This downrod from Fanimation's Downrods Collection extends your ceiling fan's drop to improve air circulation and clearance. The brushed nickel finish pairs well with modern and contemporary fan styles. Designed for wet locations, it suits covered outdoor areas.
Best for
- Rooms with ceilings higher than standard 8-9 ft, where a fan needs extra drop for optimal airflow
- Covered patios, porches, or other wet-rated outdoor areas (wet location rated)
- Replacing an existing downrod to adjust fan height for better clearance or aesthetics
Not ideal for
- Standard 8-9 ft ceilings where a flush mount or shorter downrod is needed to maintain proper clearance
- Indoor rooms with low ceilings where a longer downrod would make the fan hang too low
How bright is it?
This is a ceiling fan downrod, not a light fixture. It does not emit light.
Light color and feel
Not applicable - this is a mounting accessory, not a light source.
