Maxim Lighting Penta 28in 1-Light LED Pendant | Modern Black Steel and Acrylic Geometric Sphere | Dining Room & Foyer Statement | Model E25106-BK

A 28-inch integrated-LED pendant built from black steel pentagons arranged into a glowing geometric sphere, sized for dining rooms and open foyers that need a real centerpiece.

The Penta collection repeats a single shape until it becomes architecture. Black pentagons lock together into a faceted sphere, and the integrated LED module inside throws light outward through the open framework for a dramatic, shadow-casting effect. At 28 inches across, this mid-size version suits rooms that can carry a larger statement without going to the 40-inch scale.

Best for

• Dining rooms with 9-10 ft ceilings, hung 30-36 in above the tabletop as the focal point
• Two-story foyers and stairwells where 120 in of adjustable wire lets the sphere float at eye level
• Open-concept living and dining areas that want a sculptural anchor over the table
• Hospitality and commercial lobbies with a geometric or contemporary design language

Not ideal for

• Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture carries a Dry safety rating only
• Ceilings under 8 ft, where a 28-inch sphere plus hanging height crowds the room
• Small powder rooms or narrow hallways - it needs open space around it

How bright is it?

6800 lumens - brighter than five 60W incandescent bulbs, enough to light a large dining room or foyer as the primary source. This is a serious output, not a decorative accent.

Light color and feel

3000K warm white gives a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent, flattering wood and warm finishes. CRI is 80+, adequate for general ambience. Dimmable with Triac CL or ELV dimmers for dinner-level glow or full brightness.
