Maxim Lighting Mona 18in 1-Light LED Picture Light | Modern Black Aluminum and Acrylic | Living Room & Bedroom | 18.5 x 4.25 in | Model E21340-BK

An 18-inch LED picture light in black that can also serve as a vanity light, perfect for highlighting artwork or illuminating a bathroom mirror.

The Mona wall sconce from Maxim Lighting features a tubular aluminum frame that rotates to direct light exactly where you need it. The matte black finish is versatile and modern, and the integrated LED provides bright, accurate illumination. It's designed for single gang junction box installation and includes an additional cover plate for convenience.

Best for

• Living rooms or hallways, mounted above artwork or portraits to highlight details
• Bathrooms with a single vanity, installed horizontally over the mirror
• Bedrooms, as a reading light or accent above a headboard
• Damp locations, thanks to its damp rating

Not ideal for

• Outdoor areas - it is not rated for wet locations
• Large walls where a longer fixture is needed for proportional coverage
• Spaces that require a plug-in installation - this is hardwired only

How bright is it?

980 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 60W incandescent bulb, but with a focused beam. It's bright enough for task lighting over a picture or vanity, but not for general room illumination.

Light color and feel

3000K warm white creates a soft, gallery-like glow that enhances artwork and skin tones. The 90 CRI ensures colors are rendered accurately, making it ideal for art displays or bathroom vanities. It's dimmable, so you can adjust the intensity.

Sizing and fit

The fixture measures 18.5 inches wide by 4.25 inches high, with a 3-inch extension from the wall. The backplate is 3 x 4.75 inches. It's ADA compliant, making it suitable for hallways and small spaces. It can be mounted horizontally only.
