Description
A sculptural 8-inch small ellipse pendant in matte black, made for kitchen islands and dining rooms that want an architectural accent.
The Interval Collection forms an open ellipse from intersecting stainless steel panels, lit by a double raceway of integrated LED strips plus a dedicated downlight. The matte black finish keeps the look graphic and modern, so it disappears into dark ceilings and stands out against white ones. At 12.5 inches tall, it suits standard 8-9 ft ceilings.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and peninsulas where a pair or trio adds rhythm without blocking sightlines
- Dining rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, hung 30-36 in above the table
- Modern, industrial, and minimalist interiors that want a jewelry-like accent
- Small foyers or breakfast nooks that need a single sculptural focal point
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
- Rooms that need a large primary light - this is an 1820-lumen accent pendant
- Spaces where you want a traditional shaded look; the open ellipse exposes the LED strips
How bright is it?
1820 lumens - roughly comparable to a 100W incandescent bulb. It works as task light over a small island or as ambient accent light, but it is not intended to light a whole room on its own.
Light color and feel
3000K warm white gives a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent. CRI 90 renders colors accurately, which helps over wood counters and dining tables. It is Triac dimmable, so a standard forward-phase LED dimmer will let you take it down for evening ambience.
Sizing and fit
Overall 8 in L x 8 in W x 12.5 in H with a 6 x 6 x 1.6 in canopy. It includes 120 in of electrical wire and is rated for sloped ceilings up to 70 degrees. The 12.5-inch height suits 8-9 ft ceilings; on taller ceilings, add chain or rod as needed.
