Description
A 10-inch one-light semi-flush mount in matte black with clear domed glass, made for entryways, bedrooms, and small living spaces.
The Skylar semi-flush mount sits close to the ceiling while still showing off a clear domed glass shade. The matte black finish keeps it modern and understated, and the open glass lets the bulb read as part of the design. It is a good fit for rooms where a full pendant would hang too low.
Best for
- Entryways and foyers with 8-9 ft ceilings
- Bedrooms and small living spaces that need a close-to-ceiling light
- Hallways and landings where headroom matters
- Damp indoor locations such as bathrooms with normal humidity
Not ideal for
- Outdoor or wet locations - this fixture is rated for damp locations only
- Large rooms where you need broad, high-output ambient light
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. With a 60W-equivalent LED (about 800 lumens), it reads as a soft ambient light - enough for a hallway or small bedroom, not a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Light color is set by the bulb, not the fixture. A 2700K-3000K bulb gives a warm, golden tone; 4000K reads cooler and more modern. The fixture is dimmable, so pair it with a compatible dimmer for full control.
Sizing and fit
Overall 10 in W x 17 in H, with a 4.75 in W x 6.25 in H glass shade and a 5 in W x 0.75 in H backplate. Item weight is 5.29 lbs. The 10-inch width suits entryways and hallways up to about 10 ft wide.
