Description
A 52-inch smart ceiling fan with integrated LED and CCT color tuning, finished in brushed nickel for bedrooms and covered outdoor rooms up to 400 sq ft.
The Onyo from Designers Fountain combines a six-speed DC motor with a 1,450-lumen LED light engine and five color-temperature settings, all controlled from the included remote. The four reversible plywood blades flip from silver to pearl gray, so you can match the fan to your ceiling or floor tones without buying new blades. It is damp rated, so it works indoors or under a covered patio.
Best for
- Primary bedrooms and living rooms up to 400 sq ft that need both air movement and a dimmable light source
- Covered patios and porches where a damp-rated fan is required
- Sloped ceilings up to 15 degrees, thanks to the included 6-inch downrod
- Anyone who wants to change the light color from warm white to daylight without replacing bulbs
Not ideal for
- Rooms larger than 400 sq ft - the 52-inch span is sized for smaller spaces
- Ceilings that slope more than 15 degrees without an additional adapter
- Uncovered outdoor areas - this fan is damp rated, not wet rated
How bright is it?
The integrated LED produces 1,450 lumens at 3000K, roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb - enough to light a bedroom or covered patio as a primary light, but not a substitute for task lighting in a large kitchen.
Light color and feel
Choose from five color temperatures: 2700K (warm, candle-like), 3000K (soft white), 3500K (neutral), 4000K (cool white), and 5000K (daylight). A CRI of 90 means colors look true to life, which is helpful in rooms with artwork or wood furniture. Dimming is handled through the included remote.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 12.83 inches high by 52 inches in diameter. The fan includes a 6-inch downrod and a 5.9 x 5.9 x 2.3 inch canopy. It is recommended for rooms of 400 square feet or less and accommodates sloped ceilings up to 15 degrees.
