Description
A single-globe pendant with a clear iridescent glass shade, finished in matte black, for kitchen islands and foyers that need a touch of whimsy.
The Neva collection from Designers Fountain uses clear iridescent glass globes that shift color like the Aurora Borealis. This pendant hangs from an adjustable cord, so you can set the height to suit your space. The matte black finish keeps the look grounded and transitional, letting the glass do the talking.
Best for
- Kitchen islands - hang one or a row of three for task and accent lighting
- Foyers and entryways where a single statement pendant works
- Bedrooms as a bedside pendant or reading light
- Dens and home offices that need a focused light source
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with shower exposure or outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for damp locations only
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 127.75-inch drop
- Spaces where you need bright, even illumination - a single 60W bulb provides accent-level light
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. With a 60W-equivalent LED bulb, expect roughly 800 lumens - about as bright as a standard 60W incandescent. This is ideal for accent or task lighting, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Light color is determined by your bulb. With warm white (2700K-3000K) bulbs, the clear iridescent glass casts a soft, slightly prismatic glow. The fixture is dimmable, so you can pair it with a compatible dimmer switch to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 7 in wide x 7.75 in high, with an adjustable height up to 127.75 in. The shade is 7 in wide x 6.75 in high. The backplate is 5.25 in x 5.25 in. This size works well over a kitchen island, in a foyer, or as a bedside pendant.
