Description
A 20-inch 8-light spoke pendant in matte white, made to light a dining table or foyer with a bright, airy modern statement.
Forbidden Springs blends modern, retro, and industrial cues into a single dramatic silhouette. Eight candle-style lights radiate from a central hub, each capped with a matte white metal shade, so the fixture reads as a graphic starburst from below. The matte white finish keeps the look light and contemporary, a good fit for bright kitchens and coastal-leaning interiors.
Best for
- Dining rooms with a 6-8 seat table, hung 30-36 in above the tabletop
- Two-story foyers and entryways where the spoke design can be seen from below
- Open-concept living and dining areas that need one large overhead statement
- White or light-toned kitchens where a 20 in footprint fits the island run
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp listed, not wet rated
- Low ceilings under 9 ft if you want the full 36 in stem installed
- Small powder rooms or hallways - at 20 in wide it needs breathing room
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer because bulbs are not included. With eight 60W-equivalent bulbs installed, expect enough light to serve as the primary light source over a dining table or in a foyer.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose. The fixture accepts incandescent or LED candle bulbs, so you can pick warm 2700K for a cozy dining glow or 3000K for a cleaner modern look. It is dimmable, so pair it with a compatible dimmer to take it from full brightness down to a low dinner-party level.
Sizing and fit
Overall 20 in wide x 7.75 in high, with a 20 in wide x 7.25 in high shade assembly and a 5 x 5 in backplate. Maximum item height with the 36 in stem is 127.75 in, so it suits standard 8-10 ft ceilings as well as taller foyer drops. Weighs 8.05 lbs.
