Description
An 18-inch wet-rated outdoor wall sconce in black with etched opal glass, sized for taller exterior walls, patios, and garage exteriors.
Ever Spring pairs a clean modern frame with a softly glowing etched opal glass shade, so the light reads even and glare-free rather than harsh. At 18 in tall this is the mid-size in the collection, giving more presence beside tall doors and on two-story facades. The black finish holds up visually against brick, siding, and stone.
Best for
- Patios and covered porches, flanking a door or spaced along a wall
- Garage exteriors and side entries where a taller sconce balances the wall
- Front entries with tall doors or two-story facades that need more vertical presence
- Repeating in pairs or threes across a facade using the other Ever Spring heights
Not ideal for
- Indoor hallways or bathrooms - this is an outdoor fixture and is wet listed for exterior use
- Very tight wall spaces - the 8.5 in depth needs clearance from doors and trim
- Anyone wanting a bright flood of light - a single 60W bulb gives accent-level output
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer because the bulb is not included. With one 60W-equivalent bulb installed, expect accent-level light - enough to mark an entry or light a porch step, not to flood a driveway.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. The fixture accepts incandescent or LED medium-base bulbs, so warm 2700K suits a welcoming porch and 3000K gives a crisper modern look. It is dimmable, so a compatible dimmer lets you soften the light for evening use.
Sizing and fit
Overall 8.5 in long x 7 in wide x 18 in high, with a 6 in wide x 9 in high shade and a 7 x 12 in backplate. Weighs 5.71 lbs. The 18 in height suits tall exterior doors and two-story walls; check the 8.5 in depth against door swing and trim before mounting.

What's the warranty? 1 year.
How does the 18 in size compare to the 14 in? Same black finish and etched opal glass, but 4 in taller with a larger 7 x 12 in backplate - a better fit for tall doors and two-story facades.
