Description
A 12-inch bell pendant in matte black with a layered etched opal glass and metal cage shade - made for kitchen islands, dining areas, and foyers.
The Evensong pendant brings a warm, transitional look to accent lighting. A matte black finish wraps a bell-shaped shade that layers etched opal glass inside a metal cage, so light diffuses softly while the cage adds architectural detail. It is part of the Evensong family, offered in two finishes and multiple sizes so you can repeat the look across a home.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 5-7 ft long, hung in pairs or threes
- Dining rooms and breakfast bars with 8-9 ft ceilings
- Foyers and entryways where a clean black accent is wanted
- Bedrooms and living spaces used as focused accent lighting
Not ideal for
- Rooms needing a bright primary light - one 60W bulb gives accent-level output
- Very low ceilings under 8 ft if you want the full 36 in stem length
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With one 60W medium-base bulb, expect accent-to-moderate light - ideal over a small island or dining table, not as a whole-room light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose; the etched opal glass and metal cage diffuse the light into a soft, even glow. The fixture is dimmable, so pair it with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulb for adjustable ambiance.
Sizing and fit
Overall 12 in wide x 14.75 in high, with a 12 in wide x 14 in high shade. The 36 in stem suits 8-9 ft ceilings, and the maximum item height is 50.75 in. The 5 in x 0.75 in backplate fits standard ceiling boxes. At 7.59 lbs, it mounts easily on most ceilings.
