Description
A 6-inch transitional wall sconce in matte black with etched cloud glass, sized for bathroom vanities, hallways, and bedroom accent lighting.
The Bluestone Ridge sconce pairs a clean matte black backplate with a softly frosted etched cloud glass shade, giving it a look that reads modern but still fits traditional interiors. Mount it with the shade facing up or down depending on the light you want. Wiring and mounting hardware come in the box, so installation is straightforward.
Best for
- Bathroom vanities where you want soft, diffused light on both sides of the mirror
- Hallways and stairwells that need a low-profile accent light
- Bedrooms, mounted beside the bed as a reading sconce
- Powder rooms and small bathrooms with limited wall space
- Pairing in twos or threes along a long wall for even light
Not ideal for
- Large rooms that need a primary light source - one 60W bulb is accent-level brightness
- Outdoor or wet locations - this sconce is damp listed for indoor use only
- Very tall ceilings where a single small sconce would look undersized
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you install. With a standard 60W-equivalent LED you get roughly 800 lumens - about as bright as a traditional 60W incandescent. That's enough for accent and task lighting around a vanity or hallway, not enough to light a whole room on its own.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is set by the bulb, not the fixture. The etched cloud glass diffuses the light and softens glare, so a warm 2700K-3000K bulb gives a cozy glow while a 4000K bulb reads crisper and more modern. The sconce is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch and dimmable bulb.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 6.75 in long x 6 in wide x 9.25 in high, with a 6 x 6 in backplate and a 5 x 7.25 in shade. It projects modestly from the wall, so it works well in narrow hallways and beside mirrors. Item weight is 2.54 lbs.
