Designers Fountain Astra 12in 1-Light Semi-Flush Mount | Modern Matte Black and Clear Ice Glass | Entryway & Bedroom | Model D343M-SF-MB

A 12-inch semi-flush mount in matte black with a clear ice glass shade, built for entryways, bedrooms, and smaller rooms with standard-height ceilings.

The Astra semi-flush keeps the collection's smooth matte black frame and clear ice glass - a finish that looks like a soft gradient ombre rather than plain clear glass. Because it mounts close to the ceiling, it suits rooms where a hanging pendant would feel too low or too busy. Instructions and mounting hardware are included.

Best for

• Entryways and hallways with 8-9 ft ceilings, where a close-to-ceiling light keeps the walkway clear
• Bedrooms and guest rooms as a centered overhead light
• Small living rooms, dens, and home offices that need one clean overhead source
• Bathrooms and powder rooms - it carries a Damp Listed rating

Not ideal for

• Large rooms where you need wide, bright coverage - one 60W bulb is accent-to-moderate light
• Outdoor or wet-exposed locations - it is Damp Listed, not wet rated
• Rooms where you want a dramatic hanging statement - this sits close to the ceiling by design

How bright is it?

Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With one 60W medium-base bulb, expect roughly the brightness of a standard 60W incandescent - comfortable for a hallway, bedroom, or bathroom, but not a substitute for a large room's main lighting.

Light color and feel

Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose - the fixture accepts incandescent or LED medium-base bulbs. A 2700K-3000K LED gives a warm, soft glow that suits bedrooms and entryways; the clear ice glass diffuses it gently instead of casting a sharp pool of light.
