How bright is it?
With four 100W equivalent bulbs (not included), this fixture can produce up to 6000 lumens total (assuming 1500 lm per bulb), which is very bright - suitable for a large kitchen island or dining table as primary light. Actual brightness depends on the bulbs you choose; using lower-wattage bulbs will reduce output for a softer glow.
Light color and feel
The black fabric shade creates a warm, focused downlight with a soft ambient glow. The fixture is dimmable with standard incandescent/halogen dimmers, allowing you to adjust brightness from a cozy low light to full illumination. Color temperature depends on the bulbs installed - warm white (2700-3000K) bulbs are recommended for a cozy feel.

Is the bulb included? No, bulbs are not included. The fixture uses four E26 base bulbs, up to 100W each (incandescent or equivalent).
Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? Yes, it is dimmable with a standard incandescent/halogen line-voltage dimmer. The dimmer is not included.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? It is rated for damp locations, so it can be used in bathrooms (not directly in the shower) and covered outdoor areas like porches. Not for wet locations.

Returns
Almost all products on hausappeal.com are returnable. The few exceptions include unsealed mattresses, assembled or modified products, and clearance merchandise. Any product that is non-returnable will note that on its product page.
All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
