This Dainolite Oversized Drum pendant combines a soft white fabric shade with a polished chrome canopy and gold interior, creating a modern silhouette that works well over kitchen islands, dining tables, or in entryways. The tapered drum shade directs light downward, making it a focused task or ambient light source.

Best for

• Kitchen islands 4-6 ft long, hung in a row of two or three for balanced illumination

How bright is it?

This pendant accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), which typically produces about 1600 lumens - roughly equivalent to a standard 100W bulb. This is bright enough for task lighting over a kitchen island or dining table, but may need to be supplemented with other lights in larger rooms.

Light color and feel

The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, use a 2700K-3000K LED or incandescent bulb. The white fabric shade softens and diffuses the light, reducing glare and creating a warm ambient feel. The fixture is dimmable when used with a compatible incandescent/halogen dimmer.

Sizing and fit

The pendant measures 10 inches in diameter and 10 inches in height. It comes with adjustable rods totaling 39 inches, allowing a drop length range of 19 to 50 inches from the ceiling.
