How bright is it?
Uses one 13W CFL bulb (not included). Lumen output depends on the bulb chosen; with a typical 13W CFL (about 900 lumens), it provides ample task light for a kitchen island or dining table. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage bulb.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting feel, select a 2700K-3000K bulb. The white fabric sleeve diffuses light gently, reducing glare and creating a soft, ambient glow. Not dimmable as shipped (direct wire switch), but can be made dimmable with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulb.
