Description
A 15-light botanical chandelier with leaf-like shades in a Textured Warm Silver Leaf finish, made for dining rooms and grand foyers.
Inspired by branching foliage, the Ankara chandelier grows upward in tiers of leaf-like shades. The delicately raked Textured Warm Silver Leaf finish on the iron frame gives it an organic, hand-worked look, while a concealed light cupped inside each leaf washes the ceiling in a soft glow. It is a statement piece that brings the majesty of nature indoors.
Best for
- Dining rooms with a long table - the 48 in span centers beautifully over 8-10 seat settings
- Two-story foyers and entryways where a large-scale fixture is expected
- Living rooms with high ceilings that can carry a 48 in diameter piece
- Damp indoor locations such as covered porches or bathrooms with high ceilings
Not ideal for
- Sloped ceilings - not compatible
- Standard 8 ft ceilings - the minimum hang height is 31 in, so it needs vertical room
- Small rooms or breakfast nooks where a 48 in diameter would overwhelm the space
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With fifteen 10W E12 candelabra bulbs, this fixture delivers generous ambient light for a large room - think of it as the primary light source over a dining table, not a subtle accent.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you choose; the fixture does not set a Kelvin temperature. The leaf shades conceal the bulbs and cast a warm, indirect wash upward, so the effect is soft and atmospheric rather than harsh. Use dimmable bulbs if you want to shift from bright dinner light to a low evening glow.
Sizing and fit
