Description
A nine-light chandelier with tiered leaf-like shades, finished in textured warm silver leaf, for dining rooms and foyers.
Ankara is inspired by branching foliage: The chandelier grows upward in tiers of leaf-shaped shades, with a concealed light cupped inside each leaf to wash the ceiling in a soft glow. The delicately raked textured warm silver leaf finish gives the iron frame a hand-worked, botanical character. It is a centerpiece that brings a natural, garden-like feel indoors.
Best for
- Dining rooms with a table 60-72 in long, hung 30-36 in above the surface
- Two-story foyers and entryways where a 42 in fixture can be seen from below
- Rooms with 9-10 ft ceilings, given the 31 in minimum hang height
- Warm, traditional, or nature-inspired interiors
Not ideal for
- Sloped ceilings - not compatible
- Low ceilings under 8 ft, given the 31 in minimum hang height
- Small rooms where a 41.75 in wide chandelier would overwhelm the space
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With nine 10W E12 candelabra bulbs, it provides ample ambient light for a dining room or foyer.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you choose. The concealed lights inside each leaf wash the ceiling in illumination. Dimmable when paired with compatible dimmers and dimmable bulbs.
