How bright is it?

Each socket accepts up to a 60W A-type bulb (not included), so with four 60W bulbs you can achieve up to about 2400 lumens - bright enough for a kitchen island or dining room. With lower-wattage bulbs, it works well as ambient or accent lighting.

Light color and feel

The exposed bulbs provide direct, slightly glary light. The color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose - warm white (2700-3000K) for a cozy feel, or cool white (4000K+) for a more energizing task light. The fixture is not dimmable unless you use dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.
