How bright is it?

With five 60W A-type bulbs (not included), the Portia can produce up to 4,500 lumens total - roughly equivalent to five 60W incandescent bulbs. This is ample for ambient lighting in medium to large rooms, but not designed for focused task work.

Light color and feel

The flat opal glass shades diffuse the light, creating a soft, even glow that flatters skin tones and warm interiors. The color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose - warm white (2700-3000K) is recommended for a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The fixture is not dimmable unless you install dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.
